Level C Academic Women Leadership Program

Launching February 2026

WATTLE is excited to launch the Level C Academic Leadership Program in February 2026 – a fully online program designed to support mid-career women academics as they step into more strategic leadership roles.

Developed in response to sector needs and feedback from WATTLE alumnae and partners, the program fills a critical gap in leadership development at Level C, with a strong focus on gender equity, career progression, and collaborative leadership.

Its cross-institutional and cross-disciplinary structure provides valuable networking and peer learning opportunities, equipping participants with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to lead effectively and sustainably.

Program Objectives:

  • Deepen understanding of the evolving higher education landscape
  • Develop and strengthen strategic academic leadership capability and professional identity
  • Equip participants to lead effectively from mid-level leadership roles
  • Promote sustainable academic practices and well-being
  • Foster cross-institutional and cross-disciplinary knowledge exchange to broaden perspectives, build essential networks, and enhance leadership through shared insights and diverse experiences

If you – or someone in your network – may be interested in participating, we encourage you to download the Program Prospectus below for full details.
