Amy Tian is a Professor of Management and currently serves as the Discipline Lead for the People, Culture and Organisations discipline at the School of Management and Marketing, Faculty of Business Law, Curtin University. She also currently serves as an elected University Council member at Curtin University. She is an internationally recognised scholar and educator. With experience in both private and public sectors across Australia, the UK, and China, she brings a global perspective to her work. Additionally, she has served as a visiting scholar at universities in China, Germany, the UK, and the US.
Throughout her career, Professor Tian’s research has been published in leading international academic journals and practitioner-oriented outlets such as the Harvard Business Review. Professor Tian also serves as Associate Editor for three international top tier academic journals and is a member of two editorial boards. She has received multiple scholarly and teaching awards for her contributions. Professor Tian’s research primarily examines the impact of strategic HRM and leadership on individuals’ attitudes and behaviours. She also explores the contributions of multicultural employees, leaders, and teams to team and organisational success.
