Professor Rosemary Stockdale was the Dean (Engagement) at Griffith Business School, Griffith University until March 2024. Rosemary is currently an adjunct professor. She was previously the Head of Department, Business Strategy and Innovation in the Business School. Rosemary has had extensive experience as a department head across different faculties in different universities. Prior to joining Griffith, she was Department Chair of Business Technology and Entrepreneurship at Swinburn University’s Business School and also served as Head of Information Systems in the Faculty of ICT. She has worked in Australia, New Zealand, Scotland and Austria and was a visiting professor at ESSEC, Paris in 2013.
Rosemary has a PhD in Information Systems from Edith Cowan University in Perth. She currently teaches courses in information management and the digital economy. Her research interests include the effect of IT on organizational relationships, gender diversity in the IT industry and the development of e-government. She has published over 80 papers and book chapters in Information Systems, is the associate editor of two journals and a frequent reviewer for IS journals.
