WATTLE PROGRAM – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Registration and Payment

• Registration is confirmed upon full payment of applicable program fees.
• All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

2. Refund and Withdrawal Policy

• All fees are non-refundable.
• Any withdrawal from the program after payment has been made will incur a 70% cancellation fee. The remaining 30% may be credited toward a future program (subject to availability and approval).
• Withdrawals made within 14 days of the program start date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• Self-funded participants may request to send a substitute participant if unable to attend (subject to approval).
• Member universities may request to send a substitute participant if a nominated participant is unable to attend (subject to approval).

3. Program Cancellation/ Postponement

WATTLE reserves the right to cancel or postpone any program due to insufficient enrolments or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, public health emergencies, technical failures).

In such cases, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer to a rescheduled program.

4. Participant Commitment

Participants are expected to attend all sessions and actively engage in program activities.

5. Privacy and Data Use

Participant information will be collected and used for program administration, reporting, and evaluation purposes in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Data may be shared with partner institutions and other authorised parties for these purposes but will not be publicly disclosed without the participant’s consent.

6. Photo and Media Consent

By participating in the program, participants consent to the use of their images, video recordings, and/or audio recordings captured during program activities for promotional, educational, and reporting purposes by WATTLE and its partner institutions.

Such media may be used in print, online, and social media channels without further approval or compensation.

Participants who do not consent must notify the WATTLE Program Manager in writing prior to the program start date.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during the program are intended for the participant’s personal and professional development only.

Unauthorised copying, distribution, or reproduction of any materials is strictly prohibited.

8. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to maintain respectful and professional behaviour towards facilitators, fellow participants, and program staff at all times.
WATTLE reserves the right to remove any participant from the program without refund in the event of disruptive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour.

9. Accessibility and Special Requirements

Participants with specific accessibility needs or special requirements should notify the Program Manager at the time of registration.

While all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such needs, WATTLE cannot guarantee all requests will be fulfilled.

10. Limitation of Liability

WATTLE is not liable for personal loss, damage, or injury during the program, except as required by law.

11. Changes to Program Content

WATTLE reserves the right to make necessary changes to the program schedule, content, facilitators, or delivery format. Participants will be notified of changes.

12. Force Majeure

WATTLE is not liable for disruptions due to events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, tech failures).

13. Acknowledgement and Acceptance

By registering or participating, individuals agree to these Terms and Conditions.
