WATTLE Roadshow – Perth 2026
WATTLE’s Inaugural Perth Roadshow Brings Together Women Leaders Across Western Australia
On Wednesday 15 July, WATTLE hosted its inaugural Perth Roadshow, bringing together 70 women in senior leadership positions from across Western Australia’s university sector for a day of learning, connection and reflection.
Held at Curtin University’s 137 St Georges Terrace venue and proudly sponsored by TechnologyOne, the Roadshow created a valuable opportunity for participants to hear from some of Australia’s most respected higher education and industry leaders. Throughout the day, attendees explored the opportunities and challenges of leadership, sharing insights, experiences and practical strategies in an environment that encouraged honest conversation and meaningful connection.
The program featured an outstanding line-up of speakers: Professor Harlene Hayne, Celia Hammond, Diane Smith-Gander AO, Professor Cobie Rudd, Professor Parisa A. Bahri, Professor Selma Alliex, Professor Jane den Hollander AO, Gail McGowan PSM and Winthrop Professor Fiona M. Wood FRACS AO. Their generosity in sharing their leadership journeys and perspectives made for a thought-provoking and inspiring program.
WATTLE extends its sincere thanks to TechnologyOne for its generous sponsorship and to Curtin University for hosting the event in its exceptional facilities.
The Perth Roadshow marks an exciting milestone for WATTLE as we continue to expand opportunities for women leaders across the Australian higher education sector. We look forward to welcoming participants from Curtin University, Murdoch University, Edith Cowan University, The University of Western Australia and The University of Notre Dame Australia to future WATTLE programs and events.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to bringing the inaugural Perth Roadshow to life. It was a truly collaborative effort and a wonderful demonstration of the strength of the WATTLE community.
